The Boy Scouts of America and the National Council on Patient Information and Education (NCPIE) developed the SCOUTStrong Be MedWise Award as an interactive way to educate members of Boy Scouting, Venturing, and American youth in general about the importance of safely and responsibly using medicines. 2015 Important Up coming Popcorn Dates

Greetings to all!

MID-SALE RALLY:

We had a great Mid-Sale Rally at John’s Incredible Pizza on Saturday, October 10th for those Scouts who sold over $600 and awarded an IPad Mini to Scott Dutcher from Pack 28 out of Riverbend District.    Bryson Bales from Troop 11 out of San Joaquin District was also recognized as our 2014 TOP SELLER!!  Awesome job!! Cub Scout Adventure in Advancement

As we start the new school year many Packs are also starting their calendars. There have been changes made to the Cub Scout program most in terminology from working on Achievements to having Adventures.  Notice in both terms there is an action, we are not an organization of bench warmers or just showing up to receive recognition.  How our scouts receive recognition is by exploring the Adventures to earn their badge of rank: Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos and Arrow of Light.  It is important that these Rank Advancements be earned and reported to the Council by filling out the Advancement record online. This record is important and will follow the scout through his scouting career. (more…)
